Fasl salad or seasonal salad

Fasl salad, also known as “seasonal salad,” is a fresh and vibrant dish that typically includes a mix of lettuce, red cabbage,  carrot, ،tomato and cucumber with lemon dressing or mayonnaise sauce. Here’s a simple recipe to make a delicious fasl salad:

Ingredients:

Lettuce: 1 small head (or mixed greens)

Cucumbers: 2 medium-sized

Tomatoes: 2 medium-sized

Carrots: 1 large

cabbage : 1 (any color)

•mayonnaise sauce: to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Vegetables:

• Wash the lettuce thoroughly and tear it into bite-sized pieces.

• Peel the cucumbers if desired, then slice them into rounds or dice them.

• Chop the tomatoes into wedges or cubes.

• Peel and grate or julienne the carrot.

• wash and chop the cabbage into small pieces.

2. Combine the Ingredients:

• In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared vegetables. Gently toss them together to mix.

3. Dress the Salad:

• Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.

4. Serve:

• Transfer the salad to a serving dish. If desired, garnish with olives or additional herbs for extra flavor.

Tips:

• Feel free to add other seasonal vegetables like radishes, corn, or avocados.

• You can also include herbs such as parsley or cilantro for added freshness.
